Your Wellbeing Matters (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Platform.

  • Profile information (gender, age, wellness goals)
  • Wellness journal entries and mood logs
  • Conversations with Aria (AI wellness companion)
  • Food photos submitted to the AI Food Snap feature (processed in real time; not stored on our servers beyond the meal log record)
  • Payment information (processed by Razorpay/Stripe — we do not store card details)

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data (features used, session duration)
  • Device information (browser type, operating system)
  • IP address (for security and analytics)
  • Push notification tokens (if you opt in)

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and personalise the Platform experience
  • To train and improve Aria's wellness guidance (anonymised and aggregated)
  • To send wellness reminders and notifications (only with your consent)
  • To process premium subscription payments
  • To generate personalised wellness insights and reports
  • To maintain Platform security and prevent fraud
  • To communicate service updates and important notices

4. Data Storage & Security

  • Your data is stored securely on MongoDB Atlas (encrypted at rest).
  • All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption.
  • Passwords are hashed using bcrypt — we never store plain-text passwords.
  • Access to user data is restricted to authorised personnel only.
  • We conduct regular security reviews and follow OWASP security guidelines.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:

  • OpenAI — to power Aria's AI responses and analyse food photos in the Food Snap feature (your messages and food images are processed under OpenAI's data usage policy; food images are sent only at the moment of analysis and are not retained by OpenAI for training under their API terms)
  • Razorpay / Stripe — for payment processing (subject to their privacy policies)
  • Google Authentication — if you choose to log in via Google
  • Pinecone — for AI knowledge retrieval (anonymised query data only)
  • ipapi.co — for IP-based country detection to show region-appropriate crisis helplines and pricing (your IP address is sent once on login; no personal profile is stored by this service beyond the API call)
  • Law enforcement when required by applicable law

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion — request deletion of your account and all associated data directly from the app: go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. We will process your request within 30 days and confirm by email.
  • Data Portability — receive your data in a portable format
  • Opt-out — unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time

7. Cookies & Analytics

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Usage analytics are collected to improve the Platform experience. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect Platform functionality.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Platform is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

9. Wellness Data Sensitivity

We treat mood logs, journal entries, and wellness conversations as sensitive personal data. This information is never sold, never used for advertising, and is only used to provide and improve your personalised wellness experience.

10. AI Food Snap & Nutrition Data

How your food photos are used

  • When you use the Food Snap feature, your food photo is sent to OpenAI's vision API solely to identify food items and estimate nutritional values.
  • Food images are transmitted over encrypted HTTPS and are processed in real time — they are not stored on our servers or on OpenAI's servers beyond the API response.
  • The resulting nutrition data (food items, calories, macros) is saved to your personal meal log in our database, tied to your account.
  • Your meal log data is only accessible to you and is never sold or shared with advertisers.
  • You can request deletion of your meal log data along with your account at any time.

11. Third-Party Content & Credits

🎵 Background Audio

Background soundscapes used in the app are sourced from Freesound.org (CC0 / Creative Commons licensed) and Pixabay (Pixabay Content License — free for commercial use, no attribution required). No audio files are sold or redistributed separately.

▶ YouTube Video Content

Meditation and breathing guide videos shown in the Meditate section are embedded from YouTube. All video content remains the property of its respective creators. We embed videos via YouTube's standard embed player in accordance with YouTube's Terms of Service. Each video includes a “Watch on YouTube” link so you can view it directly on the creator's channel.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
